The Erasmus+ Journey in Recoaro Therme (Start me up)

E’ appena terminato il nostro Scambio Giovanile START ME UP, che ha coinvolto 36 ragazze e ragazzi provenienti da 6 paesi europei.
Quello che segue è un breve testo scritto a più mani dai partecipanti allo scambio:

36 young people from six countries, Romania 🇷🇴, Italy 🇮🇹, Spain🇪🇸, Germany🇩🇪, Lithuania🇱🇹, and Slovakia🇸🇰, are participating in the ERASMUS+ youth exchange programme titled “Start me up” in Recoaro, northern Italy, at the foot of the Dolomites mountains. The programme, taking place in June, involves five young people and a youth leader from each country, aged between 16 and 26. They explored the Italian nature, hiking on different trails, learning about beekeeping, and volunteering to help clean up the environment.

“Start me up,” is a 9-day programme that aims to promote youth involvement in the local community by encouraging young people to think creatively and develop innovative ideas about sustainability. The project was created to provide sustainability training for young adults, is funded by the European Union’s ERASMUS+ program. The program will cover various aspects of sustainability by providing workshops, lectures, and on-the-job training to give participants the necessary skills and knowledge to transform their ideas into actions.

The “Start me up” program is hosted by Studio Progetto, a group that aims to promote well-being and quality of life. Through the project’s interactive learning opportunities, participants will learn how to make sustainable choices that benefit both themselves and the planet. Additionally, the programme fosters networking and collaboration among participants, volunteers, and organisations, boosting their confidence and self-esteem.

ERASMUS+ project “Start me up” is an excellent opportunity for young people to broaden their horizons and receive training in the field of ecology. The programme provides a supportive environment for participants to learn and collaborate, giving them a solid foundation for success.
Participation in ERASMUS+ programs encourages international cooperation, intercultural dialogue, and social inclusion for young people.
Young adults from all over Europe, regardless of background, are welcome to apply to participate in the program, where they will gain hands-on experience, creativity and learn about sustainability.
